Who's Filibustering Now?
NYTimes | "...a particularly intemperate editorial..."

The New York times ed board, in a remarkable showing of pique and churlishness, has taken issue with precisely the sort of behavior that they only recently supported. Jonathan Adler at the Volokh Conspiracy comments on the utter shamelessness of the position.

The filibuster for judicial nominees (or for any topic, for that matter) is virtually indefensible, never mind its Constitutionally dubious nature. To support it for only one party is to endorse unconstitutional behavior only when taken for ideologically "appropriate" ends, as declared by the New York Times editorial board.

Though it comes as no shock, this editorial should clearly illustrate that the Gray Lady is a whore.
