Three former defense secretaries, in their own letter, said Turkey probably would cut off U.S. access to a critical air base. …Pelosi, whose congressional district has a large Armenian population, has brushed aside such concerns and said she supports bringing the resolution, for the first time, to a full vote in the House, where more than half of the members have signed on as co-sponsors. The House Foreign Affairs Committee, which has passed such a resolution before, is set to vote on it today.

Turkey is recalling its ambassador to the United States in protest of the Armenian Genocide Resolution, which passed a House committee Wednesday. And today, Turkish PM Tayyip Erdogan said his country is ready to weather a storm of international criticism if it invades Iraqi Kurdistan.

WashPost: Turkey's prime minister, Recep Tayyip Erdogan, said officials in his government are preparing to get parliamentary approval for a cross-border military operation aimed at disrupting the Kurdistan Workers' Party, or PKK, a guerrilla group that operates on both sides of the border.

I know this isn't a technical violation of the Logan Act, but really people, could you be a bit more competent?
