This is a very graphic, very powerful description from an award-winning Iraqi journalist who was recently... taken? abducted? ... by Americans because he is doing a news piece on corruption and aid money in Iraq.

Now, those of you who know me know that I describe myself as conservative. I support the ongoing action in Iraq. But this kind of story has been coming to my attention more and more often recently, and it makes me sad and it makes me sick that this is how Americans are viewed around the world. And it's worse because I'm finally recognizing that we deserve that reputation based on many of our actions abroad. I don't have anything else to say, really.
