WTKR | CNN ditching Clinton, changing name to "Regan News Network"
The Norfolk-based USS Kearsarge has received orders for an unscheduled deployment to the Middle East. Navy officials say the amphibious assault ship, carrying more than 1,100 sailors, will deploy the first week in June. The ship will pick up a Marine Corps aviation detachment from the 24th Marine Expeditionary Unit at Camp Lejeune, North Carolina. Navy spokesman Lieutenant Jim Hoeft said the Marines are part of the additional personnel military leaders have requested to augment the current force in Iraq.

Uh, I'm not saying anything's going to happen, but sending an Operation Overload-style craft with 1,100 Marines into the Persian Gulf without much fanfare seems a bit weird to me. Just saying.
