It's now time for an important addition to our daily lexicon:
Joementum: the opposite of momentum; impetus gained by not going anywhere; going nowhere fast.

26.Jan.04: Writing off speculation that he may make a poor showing in New hampshire and drop out of the race, Lieberman told CNN's Late Edition with Wolf Blitzer that his campaign is picking up, as he put it, "Joementum."

03.Feb.04: Sen. Joe Lieberman of Connecticut announced he was dropping out of the race after failing to claim early victories on the night, especially in Delaware, where he had concentrated his campaign recently and hoped for a win.
